The city of Graham is partnering with the local Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden and a contractor from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to address the recent appearances of feral hogs within the city limits.

According to a social media post by the Graham Police Department Wednesday, May 25, the entities were meeting to come up with a solution to address the increasing feral hog problem within the city of Graham.

“We will be looking at the different areas around town that have been damaged by the animals. Through recent reports, we know of the damage in the Pitcock Edition of town, City Parks, the editions around the hospital, along with South Rodgers Drive and the southernmost part of town off South Rodgers Drive,” the post on GPD’s Facebook states.

GPD is asking those impacted by the recent feral hog issue within the city, who have received damage, reply to their post on social media with their street name and their street block. Those that do not want to make that information public, can instead call GPD.

“If you are uncomfortable in giving that information, you may call the Graham Police Department at 940-549-6441 to make the report,” GPD wrote on the social media post. “Our hope is to come up with a solution that will be beneficial to all citizens, so we ask for your support as we go forward to resolve this issue together.”
