Out of safety for the community, the Graham Convention and Visitors Bureau and Food Truck Championship of Texas board has decided to cancel the 2020 Food Truck Championship of Texas.

As the food truck championship was quickly approaching, the board met and made the decision to cancel the event for this year as the country and state are still fighting the novel coronavirus.

“Our intention is and always will be to create the best visitor experience we can here in Graham, Texas. However we never want to do that at the risk of putting our residents or visitors in harm’s way, health and safety is absolutely our number one priority,” Krisa De La Cruz, CVB CEO, said in a Facebook video. “The board of directors for the convention and visitors bureau and myself have met and agreed that this year it is best to cancel the Food Truck Championship of Texas, which was originally scheduled to take place on June 6.”
