Graham’s biggest event made a return Saturday after a one-year lapse due to COVID-19, bringing with it over 40 food trucks and thousands of hungry people from near and far visiting the Food Truck Championship of Texas.

The day had three main events which started with the Possum Pedal bike ride on the downtown square which led into the food truck event in which food trucks vied for the $10,000 grand prize on the line. The day closed with a sold-out concert at the Young County Arena featuring Whiskey Myers, Read Southall and the Old 97’s.

A variety of food trucks made their way to the downtown square with Cajun, barbecue, lobster and other options available to those who came out for a bite. Rack Attack Barbecue, of Burleson, was named the grand champion during the awards ceremony for their Dino Beef Rib signature dish. Other awards included: Best Signature Dish - Pokey O’s Cookies and Ice Cream, of Fort Worth; People’s Choice - Daddy Bob’s Smokewagon, of Graham; Best Food Truck Spirit - Blake’s Snow Shack, of Sanger; Best Food Truck Design - Sakura Southern Seoul, of Wichita Falls; Best Menu - Cousins Maine Lobster, of Dallas; Best Dessert Dish - Addie Cakes & Lily Pies, of Paradise; Best Barbecue Dish - Smokin 3 C’s, of Mineral Wells; Best International Dish - Yatai Food Kart, of Fort Worth; and Best American Dish - Bite My Biscuit, of Fort Worth.
