For a second year, the Graham Fire Department is looking to the Graham community for T-shirt designs for its annual breast cancer awareness T-shirts.

The department has been selling T-shirts since 2010 as a fundraiser to support local breast cancer patients and decided to do another contest following the success of the first contest in 2019.

“There are a lot of creative people in Graham,” Auxiliary vice president Cole Epperson said. “We thought that people would like to wear a shirt that was designed by one of their own, so we did the contest last year and received seven donations.”

The auxiliary is accepting all submissions at grahamfireauxiliary@gmail.com until Aug 1. The designs must include a back print, only two colors plus shirt color, be family-friendly and in some way endorse the fire department and bring awareness to breast cancer.
