The Elder Angel Tree program has become a tradition of giving in Graham with gifts provided to seniors in need. That tradition continues this holiday season with multiple tree locations.

Alongside handmade products at the Holiday Market on display at the Old Post Office Museum and Art Center through Saturday, Dec. 20, an Elder Angel Tree is on display. The museum is located at 510 Third St. and is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Another Elder Angel Tree is located at Smart Graphics located at 509 Elm St. and is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Both locations had angel requests placed on their trees Thursday, Nov. 13 that area available for adoption.

According to the charitable organization, community support is needed now more than ever, with nine out of 10 senior angels requesting groceries this year.

Those who cannot adopt an angel, but want to assist with its efforts can donate online or through Venmo at account.venmo.com/u/elderangels25.

This year is the 22nd for the Elder Angel Tree in Graham with the program relying on community donations to support seniors.

The giving season does not stop there, with other giving opportunities available.

Graham Oaks Care Center and Avir at Graham are hosting their own Elder Angel Tree programs at their respective facilities in Graham.
