With the football season’s start less than a week away and less than a month until the home opener, Graham ISD has announced its ticket and attendance policy for varsity football games for the season. The guidelines follow guidance by the UIL, state and local officials.

Attendance at Newton Field will be at 50% capacity for the duration of the season. The home side will seat 1,344 fans and the visitor section will hold 1,032. Per state executive order GA-29, which went into effect July 3, all individuals 10 years of age and older must wear a face covering over the nose and mouth wherever it is not feasible to maintain six feet of social distancing from another individual not in the same household.

Groups should maintain at least six feet of distance from other groups at all times, including the process of admission and seating. A group is defined as no more than 10 people, including household members and those who traveled together. Once fans have entered and are looking for a place to sit, they should practice safe social distancing and sit in groups of less than 10 and only with people they have had recent close contact with, such as family members or people who they rode to the contest with.
