When the Graham Student Showcase began it was a smaller event that allowed Gifted and Talented students of Graham ISD to show off their artwork, but things have gotten bigger and now the district looks to move it back to a smaller scale.

It is usually late February or early March when the students of GISD show off their work over the school year at the annual Student Showcase, but in 2020 the district has chosen to move to a smaller scale. According to Graham Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Gary Browning, they will move to having showcases at each Graham school campus so teachers can focus more on teacher development in their classrooms.

“We are taking more of a campus approach this year,” Browning said. “It used to be a small event that grew into the Student Showcase, which had other groups join and it got bigger every year.”
