GPD, YCSO make drug busts last week
Last week, the Graham Police Department and Young County Sheriff’s Office took more drugs off the streets thanks to four separate drug busts according to releases from the two departments.
On Sunday, Feb. 10, Young County Sheriff Travis Babcock made a Facebook post congratulating YCSO K-9 Deputy Miranda Wright for making an arrest and seizure of a substance believed to be methamphetamine.
Krystal Darlene Stucker, 50, was charged with delivery or manufacturing of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 1, over four grams under 200 grams, a first degree felony. If convicted she will face a prison sentence of five years to life.
Deputy Wright made the arrest in 1600 block of S. Hwy. 16. around midnight on Wednesday, Feb. 6, and Babcock said a large amount of money was also seized in relation to the illegal activity.
