The Graham Art Guild Lake Country Art Show is making its way to the Old Post Office Museum and Art Center next month and welcomes art from guilds and clubs to display their works from a variety of mediums.

Cindy Parker, vice president of the Lake Country Art Show, said the event is the longest annual art club show in the state, being held in Graham for over 50 years. The show has become a tradition for the club displaying close to 100 art pieces each year at the OPOMAC according to Parker and GAG president Terri Charest.

“There is a lot of excitement from the artists who enter and I think we are still kind of secret among the town itself sometimes to know that we have the show that displays for a month actually of a lot of local artists,” Charest said.

The Lake Country Art Show will be on display from July 28 through Aug. 27 at the OPOMAC following the Vinyl Revival which is currently at the center. The show welcomes entries from all paid-up members of local art clubs or guilds with registration being held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 23-24 at the OPOMAC.
