Crowds swarmed the Old Ag Barn early Saturday morning to look at goods and wares during the second year kickoff for the Graham Farmers Market.

The farmers market this year moved to a new location and is promising a larger number of vendors, Graham Farmers Market board president Phillip Gough said in a previous interview with The Graham Leader. He said the event on Saturday was a success for both vendors and visitors.

“I think we had about as good a start as you could hope for and think the public was happy, the vendors were happy,” Gough said. “I had three or four people seek me out personally and ask about becoming vendors and some of them had some pretty unique products that I think fit right in line with what we are doing at the market, so we may even see some more vendors added here in the next month or so.”

Applications to be a vendor for the market can be found on visitgrahamtexas.org, at the Graham Chamber of Commerce or by contacting one of the seven board members directly. The market is run every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Old Ag Barn, Hwy. 67 and 5th St. For more information, visit the Graham Farmers Market Facebook or Instagram page.
