The farmers market is back with the hopes to soon become the place to be on Saturdays throughout the summer, with fresh fruits and vegetables and vendors selling baked and handmade goods.

Graham Farmers Market will begin their third season on May 16 at the Old Ag Barn on Hwy. 67. The open-air market will have a wide variety of vendors for the community to shop local and enjoy.

“Graham Farmers Market is a collection of vendors who are raising either fresh produce, fruits and vegetables, raising and producing fresh meats, fresh eggs — any kind of agricultural product,” Philip Gough, President of the Graham Farmers Market Board of Directors, said. “But also we have some vendors who are producing artisan craft goods. So if they have special skills and talents in certain areas, they are producing products that are highly, well crafted and they are artisan products. So it is not just produce and meats and things like that. We definitely have some vendors that have some really, really neat products that they’ve crafted themselves.”
