Graham Farmers Market will open their season next Saturday at the Old Ag Barn in Graham. Since 2018, the farmers market has provided local-made goods such as produce, meats, hand-crafted items and desserts to the community.

The season will kick off May 1 and will run Saturdays from 8:30-11:30 a.m. through September at the Old Ag Barn on 150 Hwy. 67 in Graham. The organization is operated by a board made up of vendors and community members which serve to promote the businesses under the market.

“Our job is to bring a cross-brand that allows all these other brands to thrive. So we are bringing everybody’s individual interests and ventures and really providing a platform that helps cross-promote and promote them as a whole. And we get to work together as a team to put all these wonderful products together and put it out there for the community,” Graham Farmers Market board president Nicholas Latham said. “We are going to have ebbs and flows just as folks (...) move in and move on, so you’ll have ebbs and flows, but it does seem like we’ve been growing. We will see how far that takes off this year, but I imagine we’ll have probably 20 vendors or so to start the year.”
