Graham High School hosted its 35th annual Scholarship Presentation Monday night at the Graham Memorial Auditorium. Graduating seniors earned 72 scholarships worth over $100,000 dollars.
Since 1972, the Graham High School Scholarship Awards Ceremony has presented students with scholarships. The program was started in 1972 by former Dean of Students Pauline Guinn Jones.
“This is especially significant this evening because tonight marks the 35th year for this event,” GHS Principal Joe Gordy said. “(...) We are grateful to live in a community that chooses to honor their graduating seniors in such a generous way.”
