Graham ISD bus involved in crash

Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning near 1601 Hwy. 16. Graham ISD bus 21 was struck on the right, back end by a black van, causing extensive damage to the van. The crash occurred shortly after 7 a.m. this morning.
There were 20 students on the bus when the crash occured. GISD Superintendent Sonny Cruse confirmed two students were evaluated by EMTs before being cleared to go to school. One driver was transported to Graham Regional Medical Center. A release from the Texas Department of Public Safety is pending the completed crash investigation.
