The Hell’s Gate Bass Club will be holding their annual open tournament at Possum Kingdom Lake on Saturday, April 13.

The tournament will require a $130 entrant fee per team of one or two people and all entrants must check in on April 12 between 5 and 9 p.m. or April 13 between 4 and 6 a.m. at South D&D boat ramp. A $20 entry fee into the Big Bass Pot is optional.

If at least 50 teams register, the winning team will take home $2,000, second place will take $1,000, third will take $700, fourth will take $600 and fifth will take $400. Sixth through 13th will take home two Lew’s Rod and Reel combos. A tie will be broken by combining the two cash prizes and splitting the total and other prizes will be decided by coin flip.

The tournament will give an opportunity for teams to catch up to five Largemouth, Smallmouth or Spotted Bass for weigh-in. Weigh-ins will begin at 2 p.m. and end at 3 p.m. for the tournament.
