Summer is right around the corner and the Library of Graham will begin their summer reading program the day after Memorial Day, May 26.

With the precautions and protocols in place because of COVID-19 things may seem a little different, but the Library of Graham is doing their best to keep things like the Summer Reading Program and other summer programming in place.

This year’s Summer Reading Program is entitled ‘Imagine Your Story,’ and will be conducted very similarly to years past.

“We are doing just like we have done in the past, with just a few small changes,” Sherrie Gibson, Library Director said in a Facebook video. “Your reading will stay the same, for every two hours that you read you will receive a free book and six book bucks. That first two hours that you read, you’re going to get your bag, just like you’ve always done. This year we are going to have an online site that you can go to if you are not quite comfortable coming into the library, you’re busy, you don’t want to come into the library. You can do this online, you will still get your prizes, you will still get your free book for every two hours and your six book bucks for every two hours.”
