The Graham Concert Association announced their new season this month, following a year where only one performance was held due to restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2021-2022 season begins late in September, with Kaitlin Butts, Courtney Patton and Heather Stalling at Graham Memorial Auditorium.

After postponing their 2020-2021 season in July 2020, the association held the husband and wife duo of singer-songwriters Bruce Robinson and Kelly Willis’ for their Holiday Shindig at the Graham Drive-In theater in December 2020. The Graham Concert Association Board in May 2021 made the unanimous decision to hold their 2021-2022 season, expanding the diverse groups of artists they acquired in their 2019-2020 season, according to GCA Program Chair Brendan Weatherman.

“This year we are just trying to do a little bit of what we built off of in 2019, which was kind of bringing in some different acts of variety more so than maybe it has been in the past,” Weatherman said. “It is still also bringing in some of the traditional favorites that a lot of them have enjoyed over the years. We’ve got the Fort Worth Symphony that is coming. They come every two years. They are going to do a performance for the school-aged children, here in Young County, and then also a performance for the general public in our membership that they do. And then we’ve also got The Quebe Sisters. They’ve been here a couple of times over the years. I think approximately maybe four-to-five times over the last few and they’ve always been a real popular favorite and they’re coming back by request by several folks as well.”
