A county jail inmate was nabbed within an hour of his escape from confines Tuesday afternoon. The jail is located in the 300 block of N. Cliff Drive in Graham. “We went to check on him and he was missing,” said YCSO Chief Deputy John Orr. An alert went out over the county’s dispatch system, letting other law enforcement agencies know a man was missing. That turned out to be fortunate, because only moments later, a Graham Police officer stopped a car for speeding. That vehicle contained a driver and passenger. The officer determined the passenger was the man deputies were seeking, and took him into custody. For the rest of this story, subscribe to our print or online edition.
