ODCS raises over $70,000 through school fundraiser

In February, Open Door Christian School kicked off a fundraising campaign to provide 10,000 meals to families in Haiti while educating students about the country. The school has surpassed their increased goal and raised over $74,000.

This is the first time ODCS has participated in the Feed the Need fundraising program. Open Door Christian School Principal/Administrator Brandi Menard said she was amazed at the response by the community in giving to the fundraiser.

“I know how people love Open Door and want to support Christian education, but I really didn’t expect this. It has been really amazing. People have just come to us and just said ‘We want to support you guys. Y’all are doing amazing things.’ So it’s been really, really great,” Menard said.
