An Olney man died in a one-vehicle motorcycle wreck Monday in Young County on FM 210 near the 238 mile marker.
The wreck occurred at approximately 4:10 p.m. Monday, May 25 on FM 210, according to a release from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Kevin Ray Marsh, 53, was transported to Olney Hamilton Hospital where he was pronounced dead as a result of injuries sustained in the wreck.
According to a DPS preliminary investigation, Marsh was riding his 2014 Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle northwest on FM 210 at an unsafe speed into a right curve.
“While in the curve, (the vehicle’s) speed carried the motorcycle to the opposite side of the roadway. (Marsh) then drove off the roadway and into the west side ditch, where (he) lost control and crashed,” the DPS release states.
