One injured in weekend vehicle wreck

A one-vehicle wreck in Young County resulted in a Graham man being airlifted to Fort Worth with injuries.

The wreck occurred around 4:35 p.m. Saturday, April 12 on Hwy. 16 South near Salem Loop, according to a preliminary investigation from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The 2008 Kia passenger car was driven by Taylor Ray Ford, 23, who was traveling west on Hwy. 16 South. The DPS investigation revealed the driver failed to maintain a single lane, left the roadway and struck a tree.

Ford was transported to Graham Regional Medical Center and airlifted to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.

According to DPS, there is no update on the driver’s current condition.
