Avon and Open Door Christian School partnered to donate a stuffed animal to each child in Young County Child Protective Services.

Audra Wells, an Avon Independent Sales Representative, said every year Avon has a stuffed animal fundraiser and this year she wanted to be sure the children in foster and protective care were able to receive a gift this year.

“This year, I had thought about it and thought you know, our foster kids in Young County, we have a lot of foster kids that just don’t get, I mean the foster parents they get there Christmas and stuff but they could probably use a little bit of help,” Wells said. “So, I decided that I would like to (have a fundraiser) for the foster kids of Young County, So I spoke with Open Door and partnered with them.”
