Saturday standoff ends with suicide

The Young County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance call around 10:15 a.m. Saturday which ended with a suspect dying from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
“At approximately 10:15 am June 1, 2019 a domestic disturbance was reported to the Young County Sheriff’s Office,” A statement from Young County Sheriff Travis Babcock reads. “The Young County Sheriff’s Office, Graham Police Department, Texas DPS, and Olney Police Department responded. Following a brief standoff with Law Enforcement Officers, the suspect succumbed to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”
