A Graham man is dead after a rollover accident south of Graham on Sunday evening.
According to the Young County Sheriff’s Department preliminary report and the Texas Department of Public Safety, the vehicle involved was a red 2001 Chevrolet Silverado extended cab pickup driven by Richard Rosser, 80, of Graham.
The vehicle was traveling southbound from Graham on FM 1287, about 2 miles south of Graham, on May 7.
The truck failed to make the left curve just before the post yard on FM 1287.
The Silverado left the roadway, veering into a ditch. DPS believes the driver overcorrected, causing him to go into a side skid into the east ditch.
The driver then drove through a barbed wire fence and struck a tree on the driver’s side.
