Graham Regional Medical Center changed its ER physician service to the Titanium Emergency Group on Oct. 1 and since starting, the group has already made a positive impact, the hospital said. When the GRMC board in June was deciding on who would provide doctors for the emergency room, GRMC CEO Shane Kernell said a 2 percent improvement in the admission rate to the ER would bring in around half a million dollars for the hospital.
