Graham ISD kicked off its annual summer meal program this week that provides free meals for children 18 and younger at Pioneer Elementary School.
The program in Graham is made possible through funding from the United States Department of Agriculture. The National School Lunch Program is a federally assisted meal program for public, nonprofit private schools and residential child care institutions.
Meals are offered from Monday to Thursday through Thursday, June 19 at Pioneer Elementary School at 1425 First St. Breakfast is served from 7:30-8 a.m. at the campus and lunch is served from 11 a.m. to noon.
The summer meals menu for each week through the end of the program is available online under the food services tab at grahamisd.com.

At the conclusion of the school’s summer meal program, First United Methodist Church of Graham hosts a free meal program for children, youth and adults.
Meals are served five days a week beginning in July along with a take home sack supper of sandwiches and snacks is also provided. All meals for Our Daily Bread are supplied at FUMC McCree Hall.
