Local superstars were honored last Tuesday at the Graham Chamber of Commerce’s 2018 Grahammy Awards and Taste of Graham in the Young County Arena, celebrating a century of growth in the community.
Introductions were made to both events by Graham Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau CEO Krisa De La Cruz. After a wine tasting, the Taste of Graham kicked off and visitors chose which of the 16 participating local restaurants was their favorite in multiple award categories.
Taste of Graham participating restaurants were: Brothers Smokehouse, Casa Grande Mexican Grill, Chicken Express, Daddy Bob’s Smokewagon, Dairy Queen, Dinner Bell at the Wildcatter, Dinner Bell Cafe, Dos Chiles, Five Twenty-Six Pizza Studio, Fox Hollow Restaurant, Monarch Catering, Neri’s Bistro and Catering, Potter’s Pizza Inc., Rockin’ S Bar and Grill, Taco Casa and United Supermarkets.
A recognition of the Chamber of Commerce board members by De La Cruz and a state of the chamber presentation by Board of Directors Chairman Chris Blanton followed the Taste of Graham. De La Cruz then moved into the awards presentation for the Taste of Graham and the Grahammy Awards were presented by Blanton, past chairman Alex Heartfield and De La Cruz.
