Three Graham men arrested, charged in August assault

Three Graham men have been arrested on alleged charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and engaging in organized criminal activity. Lawrence Zackery Don Whitlock, 27, and Jordan Paul Gonzales, 33, were arrested Tuesday, Sept. 13. Timothy Scott Teadt, 42, was arrested Tuesday, Sept. 20 on the alleged charges.

Gonzales and Whitlock both bonded out of the Young County Jail on Friday, Sept. 16. Teadt bonded out of the Young County Jail on the same day of his arrest. All three had a total bond amount of $100,000.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the Young County Justice of the Peace, Pct. 1, Frank Robert Herpeche IV reported the assault Friday, Aug. 26 to the Young County Sheriff’s Office.

The affidavit, filed by Young County Chief Deputy John Orr, states that Herpeche reported the assault occurred around 11 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25 while visiting his girlfriend at her residence on Hwy. 16 N.

Herpeche reported to YCSO that three men, identified as Whitlock, Teadt and Gonzales, forced open the back door of the residence. According to the affidavit, Herpeche stated Whitlock struck him with an aluminum baseball bat while Teadt and Gonzales punched and kicked him.
