Two arrested after knife reported at courthouse

Around 10:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6 reports of a person with a knife at the Young County Courthouse came over dispatch and minutes later two people were in custody.

Eston Tracy Green, 34, and Tamedra Perry, 27, were both charged with tampering with or fabricating evidence with intent to impair, a third degree felony. If found guilty they could face two to 10 years in the Texas Department of Corrections and a fine up to $10,000.

Green faces additional charges of disorderly conduct, a Class B misdemeanor, for displaying a deadly weapon in a public place and possession of a controlled substance penalty group, one gram or more but less than four grams, a third degree felony.
