A two-vehicle wreck with injuries occurred on the intersection of Third and Elm St. Tuesday evening after one vehicle ran a red light.

Officers of the Graham Police Department responded at 6:28 p.m. on Tuesday to the wreck at the intersection and made contact with the driver and occupants of both vehicles. Occupants of both vehicles received injuries in the crash and were attended to by Graham/Young County EMS and Graham Fire Department.

The vehicles involved were a 1999 Chevrolet suburban operated by Misty Grisham, 45, of Graham, who had an adult and juvenile passenger and a 2016 Ford pickup truck operated by Ed Wages, 38, of Graham. Grisham was stopped on Third St. and facing west at the red light when Wages traveling north in the 600 block of Elm St. struck Grisham on the drivers side after the light turned green and Grisham proceeded through the intersection.

According to the press release, Wages entered the intersection after the light had turned red for northbound traffic.
