With an 80% chance of thunderstorms and gusts of wind as high as 20 mph during today’s planned Cars and Stars car show, the organizers made the decision to push the event back.

“Due to the weather and the circumstances, we are postponing the car show until a later date. And the reason we did it is to make it fair for everyone, for the vendors, the sponsors to car owners and people who come to enjoy the event,” Event Organizer Daniel Sinyard said.

The organizer added he believes to have a set date for the rescheduling of the event, but approval for using the downtown square on that date must be given by Graham City Council before he can make an announcement. The next Graham City Council meeting is currently scheduled for Thursday, April 18.

UPDATE:

The Graham City Council will meet on April 18 and consider and act on a request from Cars and Stars for use of the downtown square on Aug. 3, for their annual car show.
