The Young County Sheriff’s Office recently arrested a 20-year-old male on two charges of burglary of habitation, a second degree felony, regarding property stolen from a house in Newcastle in January.

On Monday, Jan. 14, the YCSO received a report of a burglary at a residence in Newcastle with a shotgun being stolen from the property. Twelve days later on Saturday, Jan. 26, another report of burglary was made to YCSO at the same residence, but this time a gun safe, 32-inch television, guns (rifles and a pistol), ammunition, video game consoles and games were taken from the property.
