You Lead, Keep Graham Beautiful update Standpipe Mountain project

The You Lead Class of 2021 and the Keep Graham Beautiful organization spoke at the Rotary Club of Graham meeting Tuesday about their restoration project involving Standpipe Mountain. The You Lead class will be focusing on the water tank restoration while the Keep Graham Beautiful and other civic organizations will be working on the restoration of the presentation of the area.

The Young County You Lead leadership training program is coordinated by the Graham Chamber of Commerce and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. Each class contains members from different organizations and groups within Young County and is designed to develop and cultivate community leaders.

“If you don’t know a lot about You Lead, we are spending one day each month learning about our community, our government, about the sheriff’s department and the courthouse and (Chamber of Commerce Manager) Lisa (Kinkead) and (Chamber of Commerce CEO) Krisa (De La Cruz) and Taylor (Pemelton), they are all doing a great job,” president of You Lead Class of 2021 Cathy Partridge said Tuesday.
