Young County Veterans Memorial to add five new names, five changes

Five new names will be added and five name changes will be complete to the two different Veterans Memorial walls.

The Young County New Century Veterans Memorial will be added to beginning Tuesday, June 23 and unveiled on July 4. The NCVM Board has released the names that will be added to the wall or amended.

On the Post January 2001 potion of the wall Lance Eric Martin and Antonio Ramirez III will be added. 

On the Pre-January 2001 and pourover from the prior wall will be Robert Eugene Brown, Jerry Thomas Jackson and Charles Franklin Bramlet.

The single amendment to the new wall is Blake Morris Harvey should be Morris Blake Harvey.

Four amendments to the previous wall are Ray D. Brooks should be amended to Roy D. Brooks, Allen Leach requested his name be amended to Allen “Spud” Leach, Alton Wayne Gorbett should be Alton Wayne Corbett and Jesse C. Homer should be Jesse C. Hamer.
