Alvin Dale “Bo” Mahler

Bo Mahler left his earthly home on Aug. 17, 2021. He was born Dec. 28, 1950, to Earl “Sid” and Louise (Compton) Mahler in Graham, TX. Graveside service to be held Oct. 23, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at the Loving Cemetery at 4917 TX-16 Loving, TX 76460.

Bo lived a colorful and eventful life starting in Graham but traveling the world. He went wherever the spirit took him but never forgot his Texas roots. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and a friend to all.

Bo was called to the art world at a young age and produced a large collection of diverse art in his lifetime. His works of art reside all over the world and in many galleries. He loved sharing his gift and taught at several universities.

He wore so many various hats in his lifetime. A artist, ranch manager, country singer, pearl diver, musician, entrepreneur, student, landscaper, professor, champion dog breeder/handler.

He is survived by his two loving children Earl Nicholas Thees Mahler III (Lori) and Catherine Amanda Louise Mahler both of Wylie, TX. Two sisters Glenda (Bob) Morris and Teresa (Robert) Bishop. Two grandsons Quentin(Wes)Tanner of Garland, TX and Brandon Tanner of Wylie. Three nieces Angela, Annette (Lee) Wheeler of Breckenridge, Tx and Tabatha Mahler of Oklahoma. Plus many great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was proceeded in death by his parents; husband Jim Williams, and former wife Kathy Sterrenberg Mahler.

In lieu of flowers, he would like all donations be made in his memory to honor his son Nick to the IFOPA 1520 Clay St Ste H-2 North Kansas City, MO 64116.
