Betty S. Herndon, 79, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016, in Graham. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 20, 2016, at 10 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Betty was born Oct. 7, 1936, in Graham to the late Bennie Lee and Daisy Pauline (Tullis) Beach. She married Bobby F. Herndon July 8, 1955, in Graham, and he preceded her in death Nov. 22, 2014. Betty was a Cafeteria Manager for Graham ISD and a member of the First Baptist Church, Order of the Easter Star, and Daughters of American Revolution.

Survivors include her son, David Herndon and wife, Angela of Weatherford; sister, Barbara Alexander and husband, Lloyd of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Tyler Herndon and wife, Madelynn of Springtown, Wesley Herndon of Weatherford, and Tori Herndon of Weatherford.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
