Billy Dan Wadley passed away Dec. 30, 2016 after a long illness. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017 at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home in Graham. Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery. Wadley was born Oct. 18, 1929 in Tonk Valley, and lived in Graham most of his life. He was a retired U.S. Postal Service letter carrier and served as a staff sergeant in the Army in Korea. He was a past commander of VFW Post #8567, the American Volunteer Reserve, a member of the Good Sams Travel Club and the Levi and Lace Square Dance Club. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Wadley; two sons, Danny Wadley and Richard Wadley; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; four step-children, eight step-grandchildren, and 13 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mable Meaders Wadley, in 1999 and by a sister, Laura Slaughter. Family and friends will gather for lunch and fellowship at the Cowboy Church of Young County.
