Billy Thomas Woods, 63, of Olney, died Oct. 9, 2016 at Grace Care Center of Olney. A graveside memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 16 at 11 a.m. at Newcastle Cemetery. Billy was born July 25, 1953 in Wichita Falls, the son of Archie D. Woods and Mildred Lee Woods. He was an oil field worker and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a free spirit and fully enjoyed life. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Linda. He is survived by his sons, Chris Masten, of Connecticut and Billy T. Woods of Montague; his sisters, Sandy Lathrop of Lamar, Mo., Jimmie Mangrum of Fairview, Tenn., Debra Stanton of Newcastle and Tanny Nipp of Graham; a brother, David Geisler of Waco; two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
