Bryan David Walls

Bryan David Walls passed away May 27, 2019 in Fort Worth. Funeral services was held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 31, at the First Baptist Church in Graham with interment following in Pioneer Cemetery. Family visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.

Bryan was born March 30, 1964 in Plano, and graduated from Frisco High School in 1982. He served as Young County Sheriff from 2005 to 2016. He was a member of numerous law enforcement organizations including the Sheriffs’ Association of Texas, a Board Member of the Texas Jail Association as a Sheriff representative and as a vendor representative, the Western States Sheriff’s Association, Texas Police Chiefs Association, Nortex Regional Planning Commission and was a board member of the Justice Advisory Committee. He received the Texas State Parks & Wildlife Directors Award in 2010. Bryan was President of the Graham ISD Athletics Booster Club from 2006 to 2012, President of the Graham Little League from 2004-2010, a Virginia’s House Board Member, Graham High School Health and Safety Advisory Committee Board Member, Young County Jr. Livestock Show board member, and originated the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Graham Special Olympics. He was a member of the Country Road Fellowship.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Walls of Graham; mother, Judy Walls of Graham; daughter, Sadie Walls of Graham, three sons, Hunter Walls of Lubbock, Tanner Walls and Tyler Walls, both of Graham; brother, Jeff Walls and wife Angie of Kerrville; three step children, Maxx Lovern and wife Kaitlyn, Jim Bob Perry and Kody Perry; step grandson, Lincoln Lovern; uncle, David Boles and wife Cathy; aunt, Carolyn (Duh) McDaniel; numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Bryan was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Walls and by two brothers, Christopher Lee and Kenneth Dean Walls.
