Buddy Wayne Myrick, 82, passed away Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021, at his home. Graveside funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021, at Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Buddy Wayne was born Feb. 15, 1939, in Graham, to the late Agnes (Cox) Myrick and W.J. (Bud) Myrick. Buddy married Winona Ainsworth Aug. 9, 1956. He worked as the Produce manager for Safeway Grocery for 16 years and United Grocery for eight years. Buddy Wayne (Roadrunner) was a self-employed truck driver for 39 years.

Survivors include; wife, Winona Myrick of Graham; daughters, Charlene Etheridge and husband Anthony of Graham, Carla Myrick, of Graham; grandson, Justin Stewart and wife Susan of Cedar Park; great grandchildren, Alex and Grayson Stewart; brother, W.J. (Dub) Myrick of Graham; brother-in-law, L.B. (Honey) Ainsworth of Bryson; two nephews, three nieces and a special friend Linda Freeman of Lawton, Okla.
