Breckenridge — Cathy Franklin, 76, went to be with her savior Thursday, June 16, 2016. Funeral service with Larry Pratt officiating will be held Monday, June 20, 2016, at 10 a.m. in the Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in Eliasville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 to 7 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.

Catherine Marie McGinnis was born on Sept. 14, 1939, in Fluterville, Ohio to Keith and Cora McGinnis. She had owned Cathy’s Hill Top Café in Eliasville, and attended the Eliasville Church of Christ.

Survivors include her daughters, Tammy Deavers and husband Darron of Denton and Tina Ramsaier and husband Cecil of Breckneridge; sons, Kem Franklin and wife Bri of Denton and Tim Franklin of Eliasville; grandchildren, Steyli, Shane, Shawn, Robin, Aiden, Chad and Justin Franklin, Walker Ramsaier, and Kristina Waddell and spouse Nathan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother and sister.
