Dan C. McCluer, 69, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016 in Temple. Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 30, at 3 p.m. in Loving Cemetery, under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Dan was born Aug. 23, 1946 in Graham, to the late Jacob Monte and Vesta Grant (Elliott) McCluer. He graduated from Graham High School and Tarleton State University. He retired from the U.S. Army after 37 years of service. Survivors include his brother, Jerry McCluer and wife, Harriet, of North Richland Hills; nieces, Kelly Adams and husband, Travis of Sinton and Amanda Ott and husband, Mark of Richmond Hill, Ga.; nephew, Marc McCluer and wife, Kim of Aledo; and several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.
