Newcastle — Dewey Renner, age 64, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at his home in Newcastle. Private family memorial services will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Dewey was born Nov. 13, 1951, in Lamar, Colorado. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy from May 15, 1969, to Feb. 10, 1971. He married Patricia Gail McCall on Sept. 18, 1974, in Hill City, Kansas. He was a truck driver and a lifetime member of the VFW Post #8567 in Graham, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his biological parents, Jack and Jerry Moran; and his adoptive parents, Arthur and Marcella Renner.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Renner of Newcastle, Texas; and two sons, James Renner of Mount Hope, Arkansas, and Arthur Renner.
