Donny Morgan, 66, died Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in Graham. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 17, in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home, with Larry Wooldridge Sr. officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney. Donny was born Jan. 3, 1951 in Olney, to the late Hoyet Mark Morgan and Sissy Maurine (Lowhorn) Morgan. He married Joy Jones on Oc. 27, 1983. He moved to Newcastle in 1983 from Olney and worked at Air Tractor until his retirement. Donny was quite the inventor. He loved fishing, hunting and going to the casino. He truly loved spending time with his family. Donny was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Mark Morgan, Buddy Morgan and Tony Morgan; one daughter, Annette Casteel; and his beloved son, Donny Morgan. Donny is survived by his wife, Joy Jeanette Morgan of Newcastle; one son, T.J. Phillips of Newcastle; three daughters, Denishia Morgan of Graham, Delisea and husband Zach Carter of Frisco, and Donna Casteel of Raleigh, N.C.; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Shelia Daniels of Olney, Tanya Larance of Olney, and Barbara Morgan of Watauga; and several nieces and nephews.
