Doris Miller Cook, 88, passed away Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017 at her home in Graham. Her funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 12, at 2 p.m. in Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Doris was born May 12, 1929 in Graham, to the late G.L. “Lam” and Lila Fulp McSpadden Miller.  She married Harrell F. Cook on May 16, 1948, in Graham. He preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 1992. Doris was a lifetime resident of Graham and retired from Riggs Petroleum as a bookkeeper after 25 years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and served as church secretary for many years.  Doris was a member of Desk and Derrick Club and Royal Neighbors Lodge. Survivors include her sons, Rodney Cook of Arlington and Brad Cook and wife, Brenda, of Weatherford; sister, Pattie McClanahan and husband, Roger, of Graham; and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church or Animal Shelter of Young County.
