Doris Willis Cervenka left to be with her loving husband on Feb. 11, 2018. She was born Nov. 9, 1926 in Graham, to the late Claudius and Jewel Willis. After graduating, she moved to San Antonio where she met Leonard Cervenka. They married Oct. 24, 1946. Leonard and Doris made their home in many places following his job in the oilfield, finally settling down in Port Lavaca. Doris moved to Midland in 2008 to be near her sister, Vera Jones. She is survived by sisters, Vera Jones, Billie Lasater and Pat Maples; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard C. Cervenka; daughters, Linda Ann and Claudia Jean; stepmother, Grace Willis and brother, Kenneth Willis. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grace Funeral Chapel in Port Lavaca. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at Six Mile Cemetery.
