Eunice Lingnau Bodling

Eunice Lingnau Bodling, 83 of Graham, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, in Wichita Falls. Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, with Rev. Keith Kubitz officiating. Interment will be held at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Eunice was born Saturday, April 29, 1933 in Vernon; she was the daughter of the late Arthur Lingnau and the late Anna Schwarz Lingnau. She married Theodor "Ted" Bodling on Aug. 16, 1953 in Vernon. He preceded her in death May 3, 2002. She moved back to Vernon in 1953 from Paducah. She worked for Kwik Klean Korner Laundry. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and L.W.M.L. at the church and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her sons, James Bodling and wife Cheryl of Wichita Falls, and John Bodling and wife Roberta of Vernon; daughters, Karen Brooks and husband Dale of Graham, and Janise Hooper and husband Orren of New Deal; brother, Edward Lee Lingnau of Plainview; brother-in-law, August Bodling of Vernon; five grandchildren, Nathan Hooper and wife Julie, Scott Brooks and wife Harmoni, Shane Brooks, Jerrid Bodling, and Amber Piper and husband Brent; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sullivan Funeral Home,1801 Houston St. in Vernon. Memorials can be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
