A funeral service for Eunice Setliff, age 85, of Jacksonville is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Chase Palmer and Rev. Dale Jamerson officiating.

Mrs. Setliff passed away May 8, 2016 in Jacksonville.

Eunice was born Feb. 25, 1931, in Loving, to Oliver and Carrie Hazelton.

She was known and loved by many people whom she meet during her 36 years she worked at Nan Travis Hospital, where she retired from just eight years ago. Eunice was strong in her faith and loved the Lord.  She enjoyed cooking and growing flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, N. R. Setliff; and sons, Danny and Richard Setliff.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Setliff and his wife Mary Ann, and Roy Setliff, all of Jacksonville; daughters, Norma Schafer and husband Robert of North Richland Hills and Virginia Saulters and husband Tommy of Mesquite; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. James Low and his staff for their devoted care.

Visitation with the family will be held between 1-2 p.m. Thursday at Autry Funeral Home.
