Gary Lynn Massey, formerly of Wichita Falls and Graham, passed away in Ocala, Florida, on Oct. 16, 2021. He was born Dec. 12, 1946, to J.W. (Jake) and Lavana (Jones) Massey in Wichita Falls.

A graveside service for Gary will be held Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Memorial Park, 1917 Archer City Highway, Wichita Falls.

He attended schools in Wichita Falls and graduated from Wichita Falls High School. Gary thoroughly enjoyed the sport of fishing. He was also a fan of Country music. He learned to play the violin in the public school orchestra but was self-taught in the art of the electric guitar and the fiddle.  He loved his music!!

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; his paternal grandparents, Shaird and Virgie Massey of Denton County; and his maternal grandparents, Tolbert (Tobe) Lee and Jenny Faye Jones of Wichita Falls.

He is survived by his son, Wesley Massey of Florida; his daughter, Kary Lynn Logan (Chris) of Florida; five grandchildren, Makayla Massey Nicoson (Trenton Mark), Raven Kelly Logan, Hailey Renay Logan, Leeanna Kassey Logan, Kaydin Lorraine Massey; two great grandchildren, Trinity Michelle and Emberly Mae Nicoson; his sister, Sharon Nichols (Carl) of Holliday; and nephews, great nieces and cousins.
