Gloria King Foust

Gloria King Foust passed away Nov. 22, 2021, in Graham at the age of 78, where she had resided in Graham Oaks Care Center for the last 17 years. She was born Oct. 21, 1943, in Winters, TX, to Robert D and Oval Harris King of Wingate.

Gloria grew up in Wingate and lived most of her adult life in Winters and Graham. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Graham.
Gloria is survived by daughter, Robin Foust Daws of Wichita Falls; grandsons Bucky Daws of Hurst and Koy Daws of Olney; great grand­daughter Rayen Scott Daws of Olney; sister Dee Dunnam of Graham; nephew Terry Merck and wife Sandra of Abiline; niece Tammy Jackson of Winters; nephew Dustin Dunnam and wife Jessica of Ft. Worth; and many cousins who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her former husband John Foust of Chillicothe, Mo.; sister Bobbie King Jackson of Winters; her parents Bob and Oval King of Winters; and her lifelong, dearest friend Betty Thomas Fields of Abilene, who she loved like a sister.

The family would like to thank Gloria’s dear and faithful friends in Graham, Raymond and Gloria Sims, Joyce Hinson, and Beth Gober, for their friendship, visits and loving kindness shown to her over the past many years; and to thank Martha Bennett for the hundreds of cards she sent. The family also wants to thank and so appreciates the staff at Graham Oaks for the care they gave Gloria over the years, as well as Beyond Faith Hospice. A special thanks is extended to Jerry Blake for all his visits, prayers, and compassion this past year.

Memorials may be made to Salvation Army or charity of your choice.

A memorial will be held for Gloria in Winters on Dec. 4 at Winters Funeral Home at 1 p.m.
